![]() Building on a lot of distrust, hate and complicated backstory, Riordan cleverly manipulated the reader’s thoughts about Kronos/Luke by shifting the name he used to refer to the entity – despite them occupying the same body.įinally, I liked that the novel wasn’t afraid to kill characters. Secondly, I thoroughly enjoyed the way Kronos inhabited Luke’s body in fact, it was probably the best part of the novel. ![]() Without doing that, it would be too easy to argue that the Gods should have intervened to fight, but instead they were given a legitimate reason to be fighting the Titan Typhon. I have to say that Last Olympian is probably one of the best books in the series. The final novel of any series is usually divisive, especially when wrapping up so many plot-threads all at once. This is the final novel in Rick Riordan’s MG series about young demigods battling Greek monsters to save their world. This review takes two parts – the first will be a review of The Last Olympian by itself, while the second part will be my thoughts on the series as a whole. ![]() ![]() My epic marathon of the entire Percy Jackson series has come to an end, and it’s been a roller-coaster of emotions. ![]()
